About SeurenHealth
SeurenHealth, a prominent drugstore based in Venlo and established in 1977, specializes in vitamins, minerals, medicines, and homeopathy. To align with evolving digital commerce standards, SeurenHealth sought to upgrade its e-commerce platform. The project focused on optimizing mobile category menus, enhancing product page tab navigation, integrating ShipperHQ for advanced shipping solutions, and implementing third-party review functionality to bolster product credibility.
Expectation from Clients
The goal was to enhance the mobile user experience through a restructured and responsive category menu. This customization was intended to facilitate seamless navigation on mobile devices, accommodating the extensive product catalog while ensuring a streamlined user interface.
The client desired a refined product page layout with tabbed navigation to categorize information effectively. This was expected to improve content accessibility, allowing users to switch between product descriptions, specifications, and reviews without excessive scrolling.
SeurenHealth required the integration of ShipperHQ with magento store to provide dynamic shipping options and cost calculations. This involved configuring ShipperHQ to interface seamlessly with the existing checkout system, offering accurate shipping rates and flexible delivery options tailored to user locations and order specifics.
The objective was to incorporate a review aggregation feature to display third-party reviews on product pages. This was aimed at enhancing trust and credibility through visible user-generated feedback from reputable review platforms.
What Was the Process?
Our team undertook a comprehensive assessment of the existing mobile menu architecture. We implemented a responsive design framework, utilizing advanced CSS and JavaScript techniques to ensure the menu’s adaptability across various devices.
We developed and integrated a tabbed navigation system using JavaScript and AJAX to enable dynamic content loading within tabs. This customization involved restructuring the product page HTML and CSS to accommodate tabs for detailed descriptions, specifications, and reviews, ensuring minimal page reloads and a fluid user experience.
Integration with ShipperHQ required API configurations and backend adjustments to synchronize shipping options with the checkout process. We utilized ShipperHQ’s API to configure shipping rules, rate calculations, and carrier integrations, ensuring real-time shipping rates and options based on user input and geographic parameters.
We incorporated third-party review widgets using API integrations to pull and display reviews from external review platforms. This involved embedding review aggregators into the product pages’ codebase and configuring them to dynamically update as new reviews were published.
